e.mails not sending out
Hello,

I have setup an Exch 2003 front-end server that is also configured to
receive/send internet e.mail on a multi-homed setup.

When I telnet out on port 25 to various mx servers, I can see the SMTP
banner, but for some reason, the queue is building up of mail that's not
being sent out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Joon

Is the server set to go out via a smarthost, or resolve and deliver
itself? have you enabled SMTP debugging? what does the log say?

Some issues are not clear

1) Which queue is building up.
2) On which server do you see queue building up - BE / FE
3) What was the last great change you performed - ever since the
problem has now started.
4) Does a manual restart SMTP service clears the queues out ?
5) What do you see at the bottom of your ESM, when you click on the
queue - DNS / Remote Host lost connection ?

Lets work out this problem basis your response
