Yes, I mean the IMAP4 service on the public folder server.
Is the pf store on the same server as the maibox store?

Yes, the same. FE server has both (MBX and PF) stores mounted, but nothing
inside PF store except some system stuff like OAB, offline address books,
etc.

Re: IMAP/Exchange 2003 Public Folders problem
Hello,
Thank you for your post. My name is Robbin Meng, and it is my pleasure to
work with you on this issue!
Please allow me to confirm that my understandings are correct. As I
understand it, the issue is:
You have to enable IMAP4 for some Exchange users. However, you don't want
them to be see the Public Folders on Iphones. So you would like to disable
them from viewing public folders on your Exchange server.
If I have misunderstood your concerns please feel free to let me know.
Generally, when you setup a FE-BE topology Exchange environment, the
mailbox store and public store should be configured and homed on the BE
server. However, to enable/disable the IMAP4 feature of certain user or
disable user from accessing public folders, you should use "Active
Directory Users and Computers" to modify the users' "Exchange Features"
property and click on the IMAP4 item, then click Property. Clear the "Use
protocol defaults" box and then select "include all public folders when a
folder list is requested" checkbox.
Please check if this works. Hope it helps.
