Exch2K3 : Need to configure a Group of users to receive email only from 1 outside domain...
Hi,

A wired question was put to me, and wondering if anyone knows how to do it :

Let's say in an Exchange 2003 org, we have a set of help desk agent users
that need to be able to receive internet email, but only from 1 single
internet smtp domain ( ex : only from Yahoo.com, but no other internet
domain ), the rest of the company needs to send and receive to any desired
internet domain, but the HD agents should only receive from this 3rd party
SMTP domain. We have no control on that 3rd party SMTP domain.

Is there a way to do that in Exchange 2003???
if not, then is there a way to do that in Exchange 2007 ???

Thanks very much !!!

- Exchange Server 2003: Not really. You could look into writing (or
modifying an existing) transport event sink.
- Exchange Server 2007: Easily, using Transport Rules.

Overview of Transport Rules
