550.5.71 Unable to Relay
I have a Linux Pop server in my network. I inherited this, so don't know the
history, but this is what I have.

1. In DNS host name is email.abc.com and Cname is servername.abc.com
2. I changed DNS to have host name be servername.abc.com and Cname to be
email.abc.com

When I made this change, I started getting 550.5.71 Unable to Relay messages
in my event viewer. Can't figure out what is causing this not to work. I
figured changing the DNS entries shouldn't have any affect whatsoever on mail
getting through.

I do have an alias file that has the following info:

username: username@email.cq.com

This file was not changed.

I thought the problem was that I needed to add the servername to the
Recipient Policy (@servername.cq.com) but when I tried received: "The domain
address cannot be used for a recipient policy because it matches the name of
an Exchange Server. ID no: c1031340.

any help would be most appreciated.
