Readiness Check Error installing EX2007 on Server 2008
Hi-

I am wondering if this is because I am using EX2007 RTM media and not EX2007
Media with SP1 integrated.

When starting the installation on server 2008 x64 for Organization
Prerequisites, Hub Transport Prerequisites, Cli Access Prerequisites and
Mailbox Role Prerequisites I get the error: "Exchange 2007 cannot be used
with the version of Windows Operating system running on this computer"

For Client Access Prerequisites I also get error: "Unabl to access the
'Default Web Site' on this computer" even though IIS7 is already installed.

About the version thing, I dont know if the SP1 media is different than RTM
as far as "support" of server 2008 but is that the case? I am still waiting
on receiving the SP1 integrated media but I have the RTM media so i was just
going to install it and then update.

Any ideas on what my issue is? I know EX07 will work on Serv2008.

Thanks!

Only Exchange 2007 SP1 media is supported on Windows 2008.

You can download this from Microsoft.
