Hello, I've tried everything could find to get rid of these two events and I don't seem to find an answer: Event Type: Error Event Source: MSExchangeTransport Event Category: SMTP Protocol Event ID: 7004 Date: 5/13/2008 Time: 3:33:13 PM User: N/A Computer: SERVER7 Description: This is an SMTP protocol error log for virtual server ID 1, connection #15568. The remote host "xxx.xxx..145.74", responded to the SMTP command "xexch50" with "504 Need to authenticate first ". The full command sent was "XEXCH50 2240 2 ". This will probably cause the connection to fail. Event Type: Error Event Source: MSExchangeTransport Event Category: SMTP Protocol Event ID: 7010 Date: 5/13/2008 Time: 4:01:45 PM User: N/A Computer: SERVER7 Description: This is an SMTP protocol log for virtual server ID 1, connection #15579. The client at "xxx.xxx.75.105" sent a "xexch50" command, and the SMTP server responded with "504 Need to authenticate first ". The full command sent was "xexch50 1020 2". This will probably cause the connection to fail. Currently we are running exchange 2003 SP2. It's the only server we currently have and does not relay any email to any other server. I try the guidelines under this link: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;843106&sd=ee and still go no where. Any ideas?
