the specified computer is not a microsoft exchange server
Hello,

I've followed DR document on the net for ewxchange 2003 and still having
issues.
1. I have a virtual server that is also an domain controller.
2. brought it into a private environment
3. seized fsmo roles
4. removed other dcs
5. renamed it to be the old mail server name
6. dcdiag all ok
7. installed exchange 2003 and sp2 with /DisasterRecovery switch
8. made sure it had a c and d partition since the old mail server had both
9. loaded ntbackup, tried to restore through wizard and advanced mode and
constantly get this message. the information store is running.

cant seem to get around it. any thoughts?
