Add the " DomainName\ " back onto the OWA login.
Curious to know how to add back on the requirement to make all users add
their "DomainName\username" back onto the OWA login. Currently they are only
required to enter their username ... I want to have them enter the full
"DomainName\" onto the OWA login.

Thanks in advance.

Which version of Exchange? Are you using Forms-based Auth?

Lee.

Sorry ... forgot to include that ... I'm using Exchange 2003 for all servers
... Forms Based Auth. is enabled on the OWA Front End Server.

Thanks

Re: Add the " DomainName\ " back onto the OWA login.
Have a look at the properties of the Exchange Virtual Directory in Exchange
System Manager. See if you can type in a non-existent domain for the
default authentication domain. Otherwise, it will always supply the correct
domain name by itself.

Re: Add the " DomainName\ " back onto the OWA login.
Hi Lee ... and thanks again for your reply.

Within System Manager:
I have several Exchange Servers, but within the properties of my Front
End/OWA Server "Exchange Virtual Server" within the "General" tab it says:
"To configure various other settings on this HTTP virtual server, use the
Internet Information Services (IIS) snap-in.

Should I be looking at my active Exchange server properties which houses the
mailbox stores?

If so, within the "Access" tab, i click on "Authentication", within here,
the default domain is my correct domain, but I want users to HAVE to type the
domain in when logging into OWA ... do I delete this entry and leave it blank?

Thanks again.

Re: Add the " DomainName\ " back onto the OWA login.
Under the Exchange Virtual Server, you should see the Virtual Directory
named Exchange. Try looking at the properties of that, and you should be
able to configure the default domain. The settings in ESM are periodically
copied to IIS, so you need to make the change in ESM, then check to see that
they have been copied to IIS Manager a few minutes later.
