ActiveSync-Exchange Credentials Not Accepted
I m not able sync a Motorola Q9c Windows Mobile 6 phone with a Windows SBS
2003 Server Standard SP2 and Exchange SP2 edition to get email. I installed
activesync 4.5. but when I entered configuration information for setup I get
this message. "Microsoft Exchange did not accept your login credentials click
retry to enter your credentials again or click continue to sync with
smartphone anyway.".

I've tried continue anyway with setup It will set the phone up but keeps
giving me password prompts. I checked the server security log and there are
several 529 events, invalid user name or password.

I have installed the third party server s certificate on the mobile device.
I have checked the firewall settings on the client computer and they are
correct. The phone can retrieve email by remoting in through the Internet
using OWA (mail.domain.com/exchange). The Mobile Exchange Server settings
are correct. Any suggestions

Did you run the SBS 'configure internet' wizard (CEICW) to enable this? Are
other WM users working successfully?
