Re: POP3 and Service Host not starting after update to Rollup 2 Exchan
The pop3 service tries to connect to crl.microsoft.com. If your server is
not allowed to connect to the internet the service startup will timeout. In
my case i added an extra line in the hosts-file: 127.0.0.1
crl.microsoft.com, this speeds up the detection of the connection not being
available and the service will start.

Currently i have deinstalled the Rollup 2 and everything was working normally.
I will try your suggestion soon.

Can you please explain what crl.microsoft.com is? Or why the service will
phone home?

thanks
