Meeting Request NDR 5.1.1 - How to Fix??
Exchange 2003/Windows 2000/Outlook 2003

A user's account was quickly disabled when they left a firm, however,
someone had them listed as a delegate in Outlook. They removed that user and
added a new person. The account for the user who left was later deleted
without knowledge of the delegate situation.

Now when Outlook with the new delegate is used to set up a meeting, NDRs
(5.1.1) are being received for the user who left the company (the prior
delegate). Since these are received by external clients it is causing a
problem. I have seen KB312433 which discusses manually removing the items
using mdbvu32.exe. I am not an exchange expert by any means, and feel
uncomfortable going in to modify the exchange database. Is this the only way
to resolve this issue? Your suggestions or alternatives would be greatly
appreciated.

It's either the KB that you mentioned, or
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/909638/en-us which may or may not apply.

RE: Meeting Request NDR 5.1.1 - How to Fix??
Thanks for your prompt reply Christopher. The cleanrules switch looks more
approachable then the exchange database update. I will try it and hope it
resolves the issue.
