Hi, We have 2 different companies that want to share there user's calendar each other. I have already server with Windows 2003 installed on each site and now I need to install exchange 2007 I found this Kb "How to Deploy Exchange 2007 in a Cross-Forest Topology" http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa998597(EXCHG.80).aspx But its require me to bay a Microsoft product "ILM 2007 Feature Pack 1" that cost fortune. Any idea how to do this?
Look at IIFP. IIFP is a freely available, simpler version of MIIS. IIFP is talked about a little here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa996010(EXCHG.80).aspx See this article for setting up an Exchange 2007 resource forest: http://www.msexchange.org/articles_tutorials/exchange-server-2007/planning-architecture/deploying-exchange-resource-forest-part1.html (Part 1) http://www.msexchange.org/articles_tutorials/exchange-server-2007/planning-architecture/deploying-exchange-resource-forest-part2.html (Part 2) A little about cross-forest impersonation with Exchange 2007 here: http://msexchangeteam.com/archive/2008/03/24/448500.aspx Hope this helps. Thanks a lot for your answer 1. I'm trying to understand from the readme file on IIFP if itâs the right tool for me (can share calendar between two exchange 2007) and I didnât get an answer. 2. Deploy Exchange resource forest- if I understand right is when u have 2 site with just one site installed exchange .correct me if I wrong. 3.Still, the best and the only way I see. that can do the job is. deploy exchange in a cross forest topology .but, yet this option is involve with ILM 2007 that cost money. Still need help "Christopher Smith" wrote: > Look at IIFP.
