Our situation - We have Exchange 2003 Standard installed in our AD organization. We need to upgrade to Enterprise, but wish to do so on a new machine. I have found some great resources on here on how to "Remote the first Exchange Server 2003 computer from the administrative group". My question is - If Server 1 is Standard, and we installed Enterprise on Server 2, will we be able to follow all of the steps to migrate? Will the Exchange System Manager show both servers in the administrative group, so we can migrate the Mailboxes? Are there any caveats to look out for in this situation, or can we just follow the support thread as indicated here http://support.microsoft.com/kb/822931/en-us Thank you for your help Eric
Sure thing. Its going to work just as advertised. They will be fine together. Just follow the process and it should work out. There's no issues if one version is Standard and the other Enterprise, both can co-exist. Oliver
