Is it able to change identity in the From box?
Hi guys,
We have an Exch server for our domain abc.com. We also have the recipient
policies on the server to accept emails for domain def.com. I am able to
receive emails sent to @abc.com and @def.com.
In my accct if ME@abc.com is set as primary, the recipients always see
ME@abc.com in the from box, even I changed it to ME@def.com.
Is it by design or something else I must do?
Regards,
ME

Re: Is it able to change identity in the From box?
I created a ME2 acct with email ME@def.com as primary and granted send on
behalf to ME. However Outlook shows "You do not have permission to send on
behalf of the user" after I clicked Send.
What did I do wrong? Thanks.

Re: Is it able to change identity in the From box?
Send on Behalf of and Send As are two different permissions. To grant the
Send As right you'll have to go the properties of the ME2 account in Active
Directory Users and Computers and then the security tab I believe. In there
is a permission called Send As which you'll need to grant to yourself.
