SQL Cluster Node
One of the nodes on our active/passive cluster lost connection to the SAN
due to a faulty port on our fibre switch recently. Now this node shows none
of the resources to be available. The quorum and two other disk partions
show up in disk management as unavailable on this passive node.

Is this normal behavior or has something not come back online?

RE: SQL Cluster Node
Well, even if there is faulty port in the SAN, the passive node still
wouldn't see the drives as available, and that is by design. Otherwise, when
more than one node can access the drive at the same time, the content of that
drive can get corrupt. The cluster service is designed to make sure that only
one node can access a drive at a time.
