How do I prevent an Owner Change of Maintenance Plan when editing it?
Hello,

every time I edit a maintenance plan the owner changes to my current
windows login. Often I forget about this and the job does not run,
because the SQL-Server services are configured to run with a local
server account and thus a job owned by a domain account cannot be
authenticated and does not run.

I do NOT want ownership transferral to my current windows user. It
should keep running with a certain local account on the server.
However, for other reasons and for practicability I have to log on
with my domain account when changing/creating jobs. How can I
accomplish editing with my domain account and still keep ownership of
the local server account for those jobs?

This automatic change of ownership when editing maintenance plans and
the like is really annoying.

Thank you for any advice.

Andreas
