Oracle Solaris connectivity from SQL Server 2000
Hi,

We have data in SQL Server 2000 database and we need to transfer this to
Oracle 9.2 database in SOLARIS environment. Oracle windows version alone can
connect to SQL Server and since we are using Oracle in Solaris, we cannot
establish a connection from here to SQL Server database.

Now, using Linked Server option from SQL Server database, we are trying to
connect to Oracle. To do this, we created a DSN in Control Panel and trying
to use the same from Linked Server using Provider and other parameters, but
we could not do it successfully.

Please tell us, what has to be done exactly here to connect to Oracle 9.2
Solaris version from SQL Server 2000, thank you.

Regards,
Deva
