Hopefully this is the correct group to post this to. My SQL server is generating numerous SMTPSVC 4000 error messages. We have alerts and notifications setup that to alert the helpdesk when backup jobs complete and if other problems arise. the errors are gernerated every 10 -15 minutes on the SQL server but I do not see any errors on the Exhchange server. Exchange 2000 SQL 2000 TIA David
