Anything but McAfee
We have had nothing but problems on our clusters since installing McAfee HIP. Stay away from it!

Hi
Could not you just exclude .MDF/LDF from scan antivirus?

Re: Anything but McAfee
Sometimes that doesn't help. Certain versions of AV programs actually
"wedge" the disk drivers and intercept disk calls. This usually works fine
until the first failover when the AV systems die and often take out the host
OS. Either that or they prevent a proper failover. Excluding folders
doesn't always work because the disks are alreayd affected even if nothing
is scanned.
