I have an app that uses CF3.5 and SQLCE 3.5. I have been developing and then testing with no problems on the Windows Mobile 6 emulator and previously on two different arm based devices. I just received my new target device that is running CE 6.0 R2 and is an x86 architecture. Certain operations on the database consistently cause an OS crash, while others like message logging do not. I wish I could describe it better. The target is an eBox2300SX and I am using a demo image because my own OS build has other problems, such as certain components not displaying correctly. I tried to build a debug OS but it won't boot. I am developing my app in VS2008, running Vista. Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated. I am ready to cut a check to the person who helps me through this. I'm fairly new to CE and my colleague is the database expert. -go.electrons
