What are meaningful objectives for DBA in performance appraisal. Any thoughts.
Huh? Speed of inserts and speed of query execution are what you care about, if that's what you're asking. In what context are you asking this question? You're looking for a new database and want to know how to evaluate it? If so, test it doing what you're going to do with it (of course)! Or you're a columnist for a magazine which is going to publish some performance reviews of competing databases and you want to know what to use? Paul T.
