RE: Visio Printing Causes Shutdown
I'm having the exact same problem, except it's also happening to printers
using USB Printing. I've had four different computers have the same problem.
We've tried Visio 2000, Visio 2007 Std and Pro, and they've all done this
immediate shutdown problem. Visio 2003 Viewer doesn't seem to do this,
though. This also appears to be related to one specific document, as other
documents don't give this issue. A blank document doesn't cause this problem
either.
We're sort of stumped. What can we do about this?

\par There's a comprehensive article on troubleshooting drawing issues in the KB here :

\par
\par I suggest following the steps for saving the file as XML and back to VSD, as this often 'strips off' small problems in files. Make sure that you save to new names, so that you can compare to the original version to see if any items were removed. You will see XML warnings about problems sometimes, you may get more info from that report as well.

RE: Visio Printing Causes Shutdown
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/935843/en-us
provides a hotfix for this issue. It's related to a few print drivers that
cause crashing after a certain other hotfix is applied.
After installing this hotfix on affected computers, the problem was resolved.
