Question about Drawing Lines
Hey all! If I'm drawing a thick, colored line, is there a way of having it
outlined in black?

any help would be, well, quite helpful!

You will have to create a custom line pattern. Like all Visio shapes, lines
have a foreground and a background colour. So what is black will be the
foreground colour and what is white is the background colour. If you use any
other colour, it remains the same. If you want black in addition to the
foreground colour, use an almost black colour like (255,255,254)

Re: Question about Drawing Lines
Anotther solution is to create a thin rectangle (thus with border and fill)
and change its behavior as 1D format (and lock its height if needed)
    "Format=>Behavior=>Interaction style=>1 D"
    "Format=>Protection=>Height"
Enjoy with visio.

Re: Question about Drawing Lines
google "visio isometric" That stencil has just what you need for
this...though most are isometric lines...but has alot of intelligence (scales
with shape thickness, geometries for bending corners, etc).
