Hmmm. Laptops can be expensive. As a sanity check, you might try this.
Create a new Gantt chart in Visio from scratch, i.e., not importing an data.
Number of rows isn't important. Setup the columns that you desire. Then,
export this chart. Let this become a "template" for your Excel data. Copy
and paste your data, save as a new file. Close it. Go back to Visio, and
import this new file. Should be OK. You can compare the template with your
old file for header discrepancies.
