I am making a new Custom Properties list but everytime I finish putting in the Property Lables and hit "ok" Visio goes and alphabetizes the list. I don't want it alphabetized. I want it in the order I put it in. Is there a way around this?
Very Strange because Visio does not make any sorting. If the content of the format cell of the custom properties (or shape data) is "B;A;C" the list will show B A C with no sorting. Enjoy with visio. Visio 2003, like you as you are talking about custom properties. The Sort Key: : Specifies the placement of the custom property in the Custom Properties dialog box and the Custom Properties window. For example, a custom property with a sort key of "a" appears above one with a sort key of "b". Within the Define Custom Properties dialog box, the properties appear in the order in which they were created. The Sort key option is only available when you are in developer mode. I repeat : The Sort key option is only available when you are in developer mode.
