Re: web page on local server
As I said in the general Publisher group, the Publisher web form is
dependent upon FPSE being installed on the server. I also suggested that you
google for "javascript forms" to find some free code to use as an
alternative. Did you do that?

I am not sure what your question is. Please rephrase and try again. Also,
why do you need a form on a local server anyway? What are you trying to do?
Why not just put in an email link and forget about a form altogether?

Re: web page on local server
Javascript is now going way out of my depth sorry!

I am using it as an internet microsite and the form is being used to get
engineers to fill in set information regarding accident reporting. then the
information on that form is to be sent back to me where i can report on it
back to our head office.

Apologises for the delay in replying, but i only work part time

thanks

Re: web page on local server
Donnie,

Sorry to say that if you are not comfortable installing FPSE on the server,
or finding free javascript code and editing it for your purposes, then this
project is probably out of your depth.

You should probably be looking for a server side solution where the form
contents are compiled in a data base, and those solutions are even more
complicated than using javascript forms. I wish I had a better answer for
you, and perhaps someone else will jump in with an idea that will help.
