How to convert xls files to csv for garmin poi loading   

HI,

I'm having trouble loading the poi's on my garmin c330. I have an exel file 
and I want to convert it to csv. Also, do I have to put a header on each 
column? what is the best way to convert to xls file to .csv so that I can 
load it to my garmin gps?
Anybody? please help.
