Error 0x80004005 when publishing
We are using ProjectServer 2003 SP1 and have been for almost 2 years. In the
last few months we have noted a number of complaints from users when
publishing task assignments that they get a spooler error 0x80004005.

Having searched the web for references to this we've been unsuccessful in
finding the cause (a couple of references were found but did not appear to be
related to our issue).

Has anyone seen this?

Hi Graeme,
usually is a problem of permissions for the ViewDrop folder. Try this
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;328249
In the future, please post your Project Server questions to the
microsoft.public.project.server newsgroup, as this newsgroup is closing
down.
