In the future, please post your Project Server questions to the
microsoft.public.project.server newsgroup, as this newgroup is closing down.
To answer your question, no, this is not possible. Even after you create
Rules, you must still click the Run Rules Now button to run them. This is
because Microsoft made an assumption that you must be at least minimally
involved with the updates process. Hope this helps.
