Configuration: using Proj Pro 2007 to connect to Proj Server 2007 database. Symptom: I format task cells as bold and save (and check-in) and close the file. When I re-open this file. the text formatting has reverted to regular. Also, after I've made a change (and saved the file) to the "Format | Text Styles" (e.g. bolding summary tasks); upon re-opening the file, the formatting has reverted. If after text formatting (e.g. bolding), I save as a local file then re-open this saved local file, the text formatting is intact (e.g. bolding). Any ideas ?!? -- Thanks, James
The formatting is typically saved with a view. When you are working with Project Server, many of the default views are centrally administered and are shared across all who connect to the server. So your specific formatting is lost. To work around this, you can create your own view. Just go to views menu/more views and copy the view you like, give it a good name and then save it. Formatting you do in this local view should be persistant. -Jack Dahlgren "James" wrote: > Configuration: using Proj Pro 2007 to connect to Proj Server 2007 database. > > Symptom: I format task cells as bold and save (and check-in) and close the > file. > When I re-open this file. the text formatting has reverted to regular. > > Also, after I've made a change (and saved the file) to the "Format | Text > Styles" (e.g. bolding summary tasks); upon re-opening the file, the > formatting has reverted. > > If after text formatting (e.g. bolding), I save as a local file then re-open > this saved local file, the text formatting is intact (e.g. bolding). > > Any ideas ?!? > > -- > Thanks, James
