Access 2007 Runtime Name and Path
I got to include the runtime in my Application Distribution Package. I
downloaded the Access 2007 Runtime but the Installer didn't ask me about the
installation path...so I don't know where is the Runtime File and what's its
name. Could somebody help me please...I got to deliver the Application pretty
soon!.

RE: Access 2007 Runtime Name and Path
Carlos,

Would it be easier to include the Access Runtime Package with your
application and let it install itself?

You can download the exe at

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=D9AE78D9-9DC6-4B38-9FA6-2C745A175AED&displaylang=en#Instructions

RE: Access 2007 Runtime Name and Path
Thx Andrew: I downloaded and installed the Access Runtime Package but I don't
know the name neither where the .exe is. The Access Runtime Package weights
56 MB and I don't think is a good idea to incluide the whole package and
expect the user install it...I think is better just include the .exe file
(and the dependencies) in my package and let it install the Access runtime
and my application automatically . Do yo know where the .exe is and the name
of this file? Do you have another suggestion? I would appreciate the help.

RE: Access 2007 Runtime Name and Path
G'Day,

Micoroft have a good site, which explains how to deploy packages using the
Access 2007 Runtime and does a better job of explaining what to do than I can.

It's called
Deploying Access 2007 Runtime-Based Solutions

and can be found at
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb501030.aspx
