Re: ProjDateDiff Summary Explodes - Use Rollup Maximum
Jan,
Thanks for your response. One of my colleagues, an exceptional man, passed
away recently and I have been a bit distracted.
I see no NA's. All is well at the leaf level, but the exception
consistently occurs when I enable use of the formula at the summary level ...
whether the calculation is in a number or a duration.
The workaround seems to be working, but I am always anxious to know what I
am doing wrong. Since I have a workaround, please treat this a low priority
amongst your many inquiries. Again, even though this is part of a project
involving significant programming, there is no VB code involved in this ..
only custom calculations.
Thanks,
Bruce

Re: ProjDateDiff Summary Explodes - Use Rollup Maximum
Rod,
Thanks. I don't know if you spotted my repy to Jans, but my apologies for a
late response. (I am very much enjoying your book by the way!)
Project 2007 (12.0.6211.1000) SP1 MSO (12.10.6213.1000)
As I mentioned to Jan, I do have a workaround .. just using an extra level
on indirection and another column ... so please treat this a lower priority.
I am just curious what I am doing wrong and how to learn from it.
Thanks,
Bruce
