I am currently using MSP2003 I would like to be able to plot all the milestones of my project along a single time line. This is not the same as the Milestone Rollup View because that view shows the milestones in separate lines to correspond with the tasks. Is there a view/report that wwould allow me to see all the milestone along one line? Milestone Rollup View shows the following; Task 1 <> Task 2 <> Task 3 <> What I would like to do: Task 1-2 <> <> <> I have tried exporting my milestones to Excel and graphed it, but it still didn't work correctly. Any help you can provide would be appreciated. TDeluth
The only way I think you could come close to achieving your desired outcome would be to have the Milestones marked as "Roll Up Gantt Bar to Summary", to then show just outline level 1 or Top Level Tasks in your schedule and to modify the Bar styles so that the task name is displayed. As you would only be showing summary bars I would suggest showing the task name above the Rolled up Milestone bar style and perhaps the Start date below the Rolled up Milestone bar style. This would result in the following type display: Task 1 Task 2 Task 3 <> <> <> Date Date Date -- Dominic Moss Projectability - Helping People achieve more with Microsoft Project www.projectability.co.uk "deluth" wrote in message news:AADFD6F4-FC5B-4F02-8A71-DE5CF7676AF1@microsoft.com... >I am currently using MSP2003 > > I would like to be able to plot all the milestones of my project along a > single time line. > > This is not the same as the Milestone Rollup View because that view shows > the milestones in separate lines to correspond with the tasks.
