Work subcategories / timesheet
I am using Project Professional 2007 and I have a two-part question. I am
trying to track a higher granularity of work in Project. Rather than just
tracking work, I’d like to break it into 3 categories (normal, rework, and
scope change) but still have that roll up into a cumulative work field. What
are my options for accomplishing this? The second part of the question,
assuming it has the aforementioned capability, is there a time sheet program
that will allow me to collect this information from the development staff and
import it into Project after being reviewed? Upgrading to Server is most
likely cost prohibitive so I’d prefer a third party packages that integrate
to Project Professional.

Thanks,
Eric
