Task Numbers are out of sequence
I have received a very large project schedule from a subcontractor to import.
A number of task line item numbers are out of order (in other words Line Item
1661 follows Line Item 2671). Is there a way to sort these?

Re: Task Numbers are out of sequence
Jan,

Actually this did not do what I was trying to accomplish after all. It did
reorder the tasks by their ID number but what I guess I wanted to do was,
becasue the tasks themselves are already in the proper order, was to reassign
new task ID #s based on the order that tasks are presently in.

Is this even possible?

Re: Task Numbers are out of sequence
Hi Scrufnut,

You will have to resort them in the original order, but in the Sort dialog,
select to permanently renumber the tasks.
