Task bar is not displaying in Gantt Chart   

Hi there, 

I have copied another person's MS Project Plan (version 2003) and then 
modified it with additional tasks for a similar project I am managing. 
Inexplicably some of the tasks are not displaying in the Gantt Chart. 
I have compared the tasks not displaying with tasks that are displaying by 
going to the task information on both of them and also to the view menu and 
compariing the calendar information - the tasks that are not displaying do 
not have 'hide task bar' checked. 
It is very perplexing - but I'm sure there is a simple solution!

Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi

Are you sure that you are displaying all outline levels -- check on
the toolbar ....

Thanks for your post. 

Since posting my query, about 1 minute ago - I found out what the problem 
was. 
The person who had produced the Gantt chart before me - that I have copied 
and am using as a template - had set some of the bar formats so they 
displayed 'white' under the colour option. So this meant I couldn't see the 
bars displayed, even if they were there. 

I have changed the colour of all bars under the Format menu/then chose 'Bar'. 

And presto - no more problem.
