Unable to open (corrupt?) MSProject file
Hi

Having moved an MSProject file to a network share so that my boss
could review it whilst I was OOTO, I am now getting an ".....source
file contains invalid project data or the total number of rows would
exceed the limit of 1048000 rows.... " error

I have tried some of the suggestions available at http://project.mvps.org/faqs.htm
but am hampered by the fact that the file will not open at all.

Any suggestions?
Thanks, Matt

Re: Unable to open (corrupt?) MSProject file
Hi Matt,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

If you haven't got a backup, I'm sorry to say that youv'e probably lost your
project. :( The FAQ 43 includes all the known ways of recovering a corrupt
file.

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at
this web address: http://project.mvps.org/faqs.htm

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)
