Task Links Issues with Integrated Project plans
Hi All

After i link tasks with multiple project files, when ever i integrate them
into single project plan - because of ghost tasks i get mis links - meaning -
the link item i linked previsouly is getting changed (for ex: i have two
project plans - p1 and p2. when i link row 23 of p1 with row 40 of p2 - after
a integrated plan refresh i get row 41 of p2. how to avoid it - all i want
is, once linked the plan should not automatically change task link - is there
any option to switch off..??

Thanks.

Re: Task Links Issues with Integrated Project plans
Hi Muthukumar ,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

Links can be somewhat unstable! The safest way is to create a master file,
insert the 2 projects via Windows/New Window..., and then apply the links.
Make sure you have the latest SP installed.

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at
this web address: http://project.mvps.org/faqs.htm

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)
