Hi, We use the resource pool to create a customized view which is a report by project. For some reason, this report has been showing unassigned tasks with "work" hours that are not assigned in each individual project plan. When the master is run and left open when running our view out of the resource pool, these unassigned hours go away. The hours go away also when an individual project plan is opened. My questions... Where is it getting the hours? Why is it showing hours that are not in the plan until we open either the individual plan or the master? Why does it show hours that are not in the MSP? Help! Tammy
Hi Tammy, Can you please give us a bit more information? What version of Project? 2003? 2007? What service pack? Are you using Project server? I'm not sure I follow -- your comment about "work" hours. Where (what view) do you see the unassigned tasks? In what file do you see the tasks -- in the resource pool file? In the master? Please let us know more details and we'll try to help.
