Displaying rolled up milestones in a summary project
all I have a summary project containing a number of sub-projects. Each
sub-project has rolled up milestones displayed. When I open the summary
project the only way I can get the rolled up milestones to display is by
expanding each of the sub-projects first.
Is there a way I can get the rolled up milestones to display automatically
when I open the summary project?
Thanks

Re: Displaying rolled up milestones in a summary project
Easy.
Double click on the task, bring up the Task Information dialogue box.
Go to the General Tab.
Tick in the box Roll up Gantt bar to summary
This will put the bar (or diamond) of the Task on the summary bar.

RE: Displaying rolled up milestones in a summary project
Thanks Rabey but that's not what I'm after.

i understand about ticking the Roll up Gantt bar to summary and I have done
that on each of my sub-projects.

My problem is that whenever I open my summary project file none of the
rolled up diamonds display on the project summary bars. To get them to show,
each time I open the summary project file I have to show all sub-tasks for
every sub-project and then hide them again and in that way each sub-project
summary bar shows the diamonds. I was wondering how to get the diamonds to
show on each sub-project task bar automatically whenever I open my summary
project (without me having to show/hide sub-tasks every time).
