Moving photos in a line
I don't spend a lot of time with PowerPoint but I am working on updating
someone's presentation and it is basically a title page followed by pages of
photos set up as 4 photos to a page with a caption under each. I have about
6 different sections, each section starting with a title page. In updating,
I have to add and delete some photos. I was wondering if there is a way to
have all of the photos linked together in an order so that if I have to
delete say photo #37, photo 38 will move into position 37 and 39 to 38 and so
on, basically snaking one frame up or down depending on if I am inserting a
photo or deleting one completely.
I don't know if PowerPoint is the best program for this or if I should be
using Publisher or Word or some other program. I am using Office 2003.
Thanks for any help.

Pixie 78,
I do not think this is possible in PowerPoint natively. If your pictures
were in a Word table that would be possible.

Re: Moving photos in a line
Pixie,
Make a two column table in Word, put your pictures in column two. Select
all the cells in column one and apply numbering. Now when you delete a
picture (row) or add a picture (row) the other rows will renumber.
