i have just done a complete factory restore to my laptop. got all my winxp updates fine. my office 2007 updates will not install. i used ms auto update. clicked little yellow shield , install, get message that some updates could not be installed. then a list of all the failed updates. there are 15 updates refusing to go. thanks for any help.

Thank you for the info. I will be bookmarking that page. I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling office. Updates went through.
