When I go to officeupate.microsoft.com to check for current updates it shows that I need Office 2003 sp3 along with other security patches that require sp3 to be installed first. The problem is that I have already installed Office 2003 sp3. It shows up in the Help About screens of Word and Excel. If I try to reinstall sp3 I receive the following errors when attempting the update: Event Log Message from SERVER01 at 12:10:16 PM Error Event 1023 in the Application log From MsiInstaller (User domain01\Administrator) ------------------------------ Product: Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 - Update Office 2003 Service Pack 3 (SP3): MAINSP3 could not be installed. Error code 1603. Additional information is available in the log file C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\OfficeUpdate12\Temp\OU_MSI_519505_(00002).log. Event Log Message from SERVER01 at 12:10:14 PM Error Event 11731 in the Application log From MsiInstaller (User domain01\Administrator) ------------------------------ Product: Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 -- Error 1731. The source installation package for the product Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 is out of sync with the client package. Try the installation again using a valid copy of the installation package OUTLS11.msi. Does anyone have any idea as to what the problem may be. I performed the same update on my Windows XP PC without a problem. If I try to reinstall sp3 it fails when I point to c:\ClientApps\Outlook2003\OUTLS11.msi. I get an error message box that says "The installed product does not match the intsallation source(s). Thanks Howard
