Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack-cannot install
Running Windows XP, and Office XP Professional; have checked and appear to
have downloaded all updates to Office XP, and all critical updates to XP. I
can download the compatibility pack, but whether I try to run it directly, or
run it from my downloads folder, two weird things happen: (1) it says
"unknown publisher", and (2) I get a message such as
"C:\downloads\FileFormatConverters.exe is not a valid Win32 application".
I'm only about half-bright with computers...?advice?

RE: Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack-cannot install
update: On the third or 4th time I did the download, (A) it recognized the
publisher as Microsoft, and (B) it installed w. no problem. Thanks anyway.
