Reinstalling MS Office Pro 2003
Yesterday, I installed MS Office Pro 2007 (over my 2003). I had never used
it before and realized that I did not want to use it at this time as I use MS
Office 2003 at work. I restored my computer to a previous date thinking this
would take 2007 off an put me back to my original setup. NOT!
To make a long story a little shorter, I tried to reinstall 2003 (after some
patching). I got as far as the install command, and I got a menu with 3 of
my drives on it (I was copying to the C drive which had lots of space). It
told me I had "insufficient space" on my D:\drive which is my DVD Recorder
drive. I cannot get past this message. Does anyone know how to make my
computer recognize that I am installing to my C:\drive only?

After you 'restored' your PC did you then reference the kb article on manual
removal of Office 2007?

No, I didn't. I will try that this evening. Thank you for your help. I
will let you know if that did the job.

Re: Reinstalling MS Office Pro 2003
DL
Well, I'm at home trying to find the kb article on manual removal of office
2007. I guess I have to admit, I don't know what I'm doing. Please tell me
where I might find this article. Thanks a bunch.
