File Convertors
Hello,

I'm having issues utilizing the Office File Format Converters program. I'm
running Office 2000 and it is updated as far as I can tell. I've also
installed the office file format converters program.

So here's what happens when I try to open up a 2007 version file.
Specifically, I am trying to open a excel file a client sent me in the xlsx
format. I save the file to my desktop as is in the xlsx format. I then
click on the file and a message box comes up saying "file conversion in
process" comes up. After a 10 seconds or so, a new box comes up asking me to
save the file again and there are three file types. All the file types are
various types of 2007 xlsx versions. And those don't open in Excel 2000
properly. They more or less open up as a bunch of characters.

So my question is, how do I open up these xlsx files in Excel so I can view
them.

Thanks,
