Am able to send e:mails but not receive them   

Today my inbox started playing up.  It kept sending me the same emails (from 
yesterday) over and over but wouldn't send me anything new.

The following error comes up:

 Account: 'pop.ntlworld.com', Server: 'pop.ntlworld.com', Protocol: POP3, 
Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC19

Does anyone know what this means and how I can rectify the problem?
