Good Day All I have a Toshiba Satellite with Vista Business, and use Microsoft Office 2007 with Outlook Business Manager installed. In Outlook there is the Dial a number facility which in my case defaults to the onboard Toshiba modem. Could someone please advise me as to how to map/configure the dial facility to allow my to access my VOIP software instead of the default onboard modem. In anticipation.
Did you want to do this using code? This is a programming group, you know. There's no way to re-map the Outlook dial command. It will also only dial the primary phone number of that contact, you can't change that either. If when you right-click on the contact and select Call Contact, Dialing Options, then select the Connect using line drop-down your VOIP line isn't listed you can't do it. -- Ken Slovak [MVP - Outlook] http://www.slovaktech.com Author: Professional Programming Outlook 2007.
