How do I disable the "Windows Image Acquisition (WIA)" service without having a DCOM error generated after a WIA-enabled application tries to start the service? The problem did not show up using Office 2003, but after installing Office 2007, I discovered something wanted to start the WIA service, and I do not want to allow the WIA service to start due to security concerns. I also do not want to see a DCOM error reported about the matter, either.
