Activating Web Search box
Hi all
Hoping you can help me. Frontpage has a Web componet call web search.
I have installed it on my page and I have server extensions ticked on server.
How do i get Front page to build the indexes over my site so that the search
can work
i am assuming that that is the next step?
Thanks

Re: Activating Web Search box
On the Windows Server you have to make sure that Index Server is installed and running, then you
would create a index catalog for the site. You have to have Admin access on the server to do this.

Re: Activating Web Search box
Ok we have tried a few things details i will have come back to you on. When I
tried the search after the indexes were built, it would come up page not
found.

Can you explain the context of a catalog?

You may want to ask the experts in the Index Server newsgroup:
